Where It Started

Get to know DJ T.O. aka Shejay T.O. She is a DJ, Business Owner, and Radio Personality based out of Columbia, SC. She has been one of the most requested DJs, male or female, throughout South and North Carolina for 13 years. DJ T.O. is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Accounting, minoring in Sport & Entertainment. While at the USC, she began djing after pledging the Iota Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. 

Radio

In 2015, DJ T.O. joined iHeartRadio as a Mixshow DJ for WXBT 100.1 The Beat. In 2016 after the success of her daily lunch break mix and weekend mixes, DJ T.O. joined RadioOne as a Mixshow Coordinator and Radio Personality for WQNC 92.7 The Block (Now 102.5 The Block). From then to now, T.O. has also served as a Mixshow DJ on K97.5 in Raleigh, NC, 105.1 The Block in Tuscaloosa, AL, Wynn 106.3 in Florence, SC, 94.1 The Beat in Savannah, GA, 99.3 The Box in Charleston, SC and SiriusXM FLY Channel 47. DJ T.O. has also been a featured guest DJ on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

Sports

In 2023 DJ T.O. entered the world of sports by becoming the Official DJ for South Carolina Women’s Basketball. She also served as the DJ for Round 1 and Round 2 of the 2024 NCAA March Madness Tournament. T.O. was also brought on to curate the playlist for the Carolina Panthers in partnership with Def Jam Records and the NFL for their 2021/22 season.

Events

DJ T.O. has been featured on FOX’s TV mini-series Shots Fired and has served as the official DJ for Clinique’s Fresh Faces tour. She has also been featured as the official DJ for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc Regional and National Events, CIAA Step Show and the Nationwide CIAA Experience.

In addition to the various events, corporate functions, and over 400 weddings that DJ T.O. has provided by the soundtrack for, she is also active in the community with various organizations including her own non-profit organization “SheSoDope”. Additionally, she is also the host of the SheSoDope Podcast and the owner of Photo Bomb Photo Booths and Dimensions Entertainment.
